In local currency you shouldn’t be paying more than Rs 200-250, although touts will quote astronomical fees knowing they can keep the extra profit. Cash only.
Jodhpur is one of the few airports in India where you can take a tuctuc. This is a very authentic way of entering the city, and it’s novel to step off a giant plane and get into a tiny tuctuc. Expect to pay Rs100 – 200 but the amount will depend on your negotiation skills.
With private airport transfers being so cheap it’s rare that a tourist uses public transport to get from the airport. If you really want to take all your luggage on a crowded local bus then speak to an official at the airport, showing them a map of where you want to go. They will point out the appropriate bus to catch.
