A rented minibus is ideal to visit the small La Coruña villages

If you have planned to be there but haven’t closed the ‘tourist site selection’ yet than see and amplify your horizont with other options. See the north coast path which gives you the option to stretch your legs while enjoying beautiful scenary. The small village of Cariño and the Cabo Vilan on the Costa de la Muerte. Of course you plan to take your group to Santiago and its cathedral which with more than 3.500.000 visitors per year is the top attraction of Spain. See the old town of Santiago de Compostela with its palace ‘Pazo de Raxoi’, vegetable sellers on the street and off course its famous Cathedral of the Saint Santiago which for centuries has been the attraction of pilgrims from all over the world. Relax in the afternoon sun on your terrace while enjoying the view of the red rooftops in this city. Just remember that the best thing of having a hired bus with driver at your service is you can visit the small and beautiful villages which are plenty in this province.

La Coruña is much more than Santiago de Compostela

So when Santiago city has been visited we advise you to ask your minibus company to take you to the fishing harbor Camariñas and to see the beautiful flowers that grow in these areas. Visit monuments like the San Andres de Teixido Church or ruined towers that you will find when you drive along the Camino de Santiago. The camino was made for walking and if you want your group to have a real experience of what this province is all about so please kick them out of the bus at least for 1 or 2 hours a day and let them walk. Plan your tour and organize your private transport or coach hire via our site to enjoy the sunset and the ‘Camino’ atmosphere in this province.

The second most important city in the center of the province is Santiago de Compostela with its Catedral de Santiago de Compostela which is the final destination for pilgrims that come from all over the world to make el Camino de Santiago. There you can hear classical music. Also because this city is known as the goal for all pilgrims, we recommend that those who do not like to walk a lot make a tour by bus or coach of  El Camino Asturiano,  El Camino Francés, Los Caminos de Portugal, Los caminos desde ciudades portuarias and La Ruta Rosaliana. You can consult your travel agent, tour operator or tour guide to find out other places to visit.
