Val d’Aosta

Aosta Valley is a particular region of Italy with partial autonomy regarding some administrative questions due to historical reasons. At the border with France and Switzerland, Val D’Aosta villages and people are adapted to live in the mountains. While you drive from Turin pay attention to the double chimneys on stoned roofs and you will understand you are arriving. It is quite peculiar the fact that this province/region maintains three languages: Italian - of course -, French and Patois, a local language. Take the chance to visit this angle of the country before you go. It is a bit distant (about 150 Km), but worth it.

If you are on business, why not relaxing at the thermal baths of Pré-Saint-Didier before your meetings: Airport Transfers by N.C.C.Sanlorenzo Gabriele company from Courmayeur (Aosta) offers a service of direct transfer from Turin airport to the Baths!
